Buzzard Meeting

This morning there were four turkey vultures out on the hill in the corn field. When I got home from church they were gone. Maybe they were gathering to praise the Great Creator.

First bluebirds this spring

After many days of waiting and watching today I finally
saw a male and female bluebird checking out the houses! Yea!

This afternoon a pair of mallard ducks glided into the backyard pond. Back and forth they swam with their heads bobbing in and out of the water. Then as gently as they glided in they lifted off and flew away.
